Hello, my name is Gunni and I have been providing Kiddleydivey sessions for the elderly in the Colchester, Clacton and Ipswich area since May 2016.Hello, my name is Gunni Graygoose and I have been providing Kiddleydivey sessions for the elderly in the Colchester, Clacton and Ipswich area since May 2016.
A happily married Mum-of-one to Ruby, and with an extensive background in Marketing and Customer Service, I had toyed with the idea of running my own business and doing something more meaningful for a while but just hadn’t found the right niche – I’m excited to say that now I have and I am hugely passionate about my job, which I can honestly say I love.
I am very personable and sociable which is why I thrive on making people smile and seeing the wonderful reactions my sessions get from residents, relatives and staff alike makes my job extremely rewarding.
Having experienced first hand how my late Nan benefited greatly from the amazing power of music during her final years in a residential home, I am determined to make her proud by making a positive difference to the lives of the local elderly population living in residential care.
Like many other people, my Nan suffered from dementia but – even when she would struggle to remember me or couldn’t hold a conversation – always enjoyed the music sessions which engaged her and had her singing along to many an old and still familiar tune. Above all, they made her smile!
Music has long been recognised and valued by the health and care professions as a medium that can energise, stimulate and connect people, something that our Kiddleydivey sessions certainly deliver and excel at.
Why not see one of my interactive and uplifting sessions for yourself? I know that so many positive effects can be gleaned from them and would love to visit your care home or community setting in the Colchester, Clacton and Ipswich area to show you.
To book a session for your home, please call me on 07854 792445 and I will very much look forward to meeting you and your residents. Alternatively, you can drop me a line via colchester@kiddleydivey.co.uk.
Here are some reviews I have received recently:
”Your people skills are exemplary and I was impressed by the way you engaged everyone in the activities and made everyone feel welcome.” – Mr. H. (who brings his wife to the sessions I run at Age Concern Colchester)
”Gunni, you are wonderful, you really do engage with all our residents (the majority of whom have some form of dementia)…everyone feels so much better after you’ve visited us!” – Nicki Bain (Activity Co-ordinator at Brierfield Residential Home)
You can also find regular updates, as well as more customer reviews, on Kiddleydivey Colchester, Clacton & Ipswich on Facebook. I run Kiddleydivey sessions in and around Colchester, Clacton & Ipswich and am also delighted to visit customers who live in towns and villages around Dovercourt, Harwich, Felixstowe, Braintree, Halstead & Sudbury.
