Hello! My name is Yvette and I have recently joined Kiddleydivey in the Cotswolds. I moved to the Cotswolds with my husband, daughter and dog just over two years ago. since then we have acquired a cat and another puppy!

My original career was in recruitment, where I worked as a consultant, manager and trainer across three different locations – Birmingham, Bristol and London. After my daughter was born, I retrained as a Teaching Assistant and have worked in two different primary schools for the past 5 years in both
KS1 and KS2.

Since joining Kiddleydivey, I absolutely love the therapeutic music sessions that we run for adults with additional needs. To see the fun they have really is a joy to see. The people we see meet are of very mixed ability, but each one gets something really positive out of these amazing sessions.

Kiddleydivey music sessions involve song tracks that have all been chosen for their popularity with our particular client group and for their therapeutic content. We choose to use mostly up-beat songs with lively rhythms, popular classical pieces and music from many different eras and genres.
Each and every song or music track has been specially adapted for use in each individual setting, with tempos sometimes altered, keys changed to make group singing easier, and unknown versed to songs taken out.
As we also work with younger clients we have popular songs and music from the 60’s 70’s 80’s and 90’s as well.
We have a large variety of props that we use to encourage movement. From hoops to feathers, ribbons and bass drums, bubbles and hats, we can be sure to entice everyone to participate.
Our mixed generational music sessions are also extremely popular. These lively music sessions are for babies and children up to 106 years old – so the young and the young at heart!

If you would like a Kiddleydivey music session in your care home, group or day facility, do get in touch.

We are constantly updating and researching new therapeutic methods, songs, music and equipment to add to our music sessions, so our children and adults can really benefit from and enjoy the content and structure of our music programmes and classes. We add special sessions for important occasions such as the Queen’s birthday celebrations and the Olympics, Easter, and of course Christmas.

Our music programmes are always lively, full of fun and laughter but most importantly, the musical content is presented in such a way as to really stimulate, and engage the adults we work with as well as people with special needs, encouraging movement, socialisation and interaction.

We are delighted to run Kiddleydivey sessions throughout the Cotswolds towns and villages. If you are in any doubt whether we can visit your location, please feel free to contact us below or email KiddleydiveyUK at info@Kiddleydivey.co.uk.
