Hello, my name is Kathryn, and I live in Oldham.

When I left school I trained as a Dispensing Optician and worked in optics for over 30 years. However, I was getting a bit restless and wanted to do something a bit different. I searched the Internet, and Kiddleydivey popped up! It sounded very much that it was something I could do and therapeutic music with the elderly greatly appealed, as my Mum had been a dementia sufferer. I loved singing with my Mum, especially the old hymns that she loved. I found that they calmed her and she tried very hard to sing along, even though she couldn’t speak very well following a stroke.

To cut a long story short, I joined the Kiddleydivey family just over a year ago and have no regrets at all. I wish I’d discovered it earlier! I love being my own boss, taking control over my work/life balance, but knowing that the back up from Sally and the other “Kiddleydivas” is always there if needed.
